Jesus

The bible teaches us that Jesus Christ is the Son of God ” in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 3 and verse 17 God the Father confirmed out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.” Further to this Jesus has come to this world to die for us so we can live for ever in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Romans 3:23 – 24 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” This scripture clearly illustrates that we have all offended God one way or another, therefore the whole of mankind need redemption, this is a free gift that is only available through the finished work of Jesus, his death on the cross and resurrection. Jesus Christ became our mediator between God and men, backed up by 1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,”

In conclusion, Jesus has come to be the divine mediator that provide us the only way to be restored to God simply to believe in Jesus sacrificial work on the cross of Calvary. You can rest assured of the following:

· Jesus loves you, doesn’t matter what you have done, you just need to believe in him. (John 3:16)
· We are sinful and separated from God and he made a way for us. (Romans 5:8)
· Jesus Christ is the only way to God. (John 14:6)
· We receive him individually as our saviour. (Romans 10:9-10)

Salvation

Salvation is simply is an “act of delivering” or in other termed being saved. What do I need to be saved? As mentioned in Romans 3:23 – 24 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

We are all sinners and need to be saved from our sin and only Jesus Christ provides this salvation process, among all the faith that exist only Christianity provide us the belief of God who came to be the sacrifice for humanity rather than the demand of humanity sacrificing for God, this is a display of God loves for all and how much we matter to him.

Romans 10:9 – “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Hence, Salvation is the acceptance of Jesus Christ being your Lord and saviour. You simply has to believe and confess him your Lord.

Prayers of Salvation

Lord, I declare by faith that you are Jesus Christ, the Son of God! I confess you as my Lord, and I accept you as my personal Lord & Saviour. Hence, I will serve you with all my heart, and I will faithfully follow you throughout the days of my life. So help me God!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

If you have prayed this above, the bible teaches us that we are now a new creation and being a new creation meaning we need to simply learn to live in the newest of that Creation meaning we need to learn new ways of living not forgetting the old but looking back moving forward building the newest through the teaching of Christ (the bible), spending time with him (Prayer) and connecting ourselves in the body of Christ (the church, his bride)
